On March 25, leading football footwear site Footy Headlines leaked spy shots of the retro reissue of Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic signature boot: the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly 1 Regen.
Dubbed by fans as the "Ultraman" colorway, this boot merges the upper construction of the original 2009 Nike Mercurial Superfly I with a modern Mercurial soleplate. It retains the iconic silhouette of the classic OG release, while integrating Nike’s latest performance innovations.
Engineered for elite on-pitch performance, the boot is fitted with a 3/4-length Air Zoom cushioning unit and a wavy herringbone outsole. Its signature sidewall Flywire cables are identical to those featured on the original 2009 Superfly 1 launch, and the insole is emblazoned with the CR7 logo and the "Made for Greatness" slogan.
The boot is reportedly scheduled to launch in late March or April, with a retail price of $300 USD.
