Nike Tiempo Maestro, based on the upgraded version of the previous Nike Tiempo Legend, has been renamed to Maestro.
According to leaked information, the Nike Tiempo Maestro is expected to be released in January 2026. The new model continues the classic design of the Tiempo Legend series. While specific upgrade details have not yet been announced, it is expected to maintain the Tiempo series' signature ball control and comfort, making it suitable for players who prioritize touch. As the successor to the Tiempo Legend series, the name change to "Maestro" may indicate adjustments in design or positioning, but its core performance will continue the excellent tradition of the legendary series.

The Nike Tiempo Legend series is a classic line of Nike football boots focused on touch and comfort, with iterative upgrades always centered around kangaroo leather material and core performance. Here is a key generational upgrade comparison:
2005-2013: Technological Foundation Period
‌  Legend 1-3 Generations‌: The first generation in 2005 featured Zoom Air cushioning and an improved "battle wagon" outsole,  laying the foundation for touch control. The third generation in 2009 introduced a carbon fiber outsole and switched to softer kangaroo leather uppers.
‌  Legend 4th Generation‌: In 2011, it first experimented with an ACC coating and Kangalite synthetic leather hybrid upper, receiving positive market feedback. ‌
Legend 5th Generation‌: In 2013, it fully applied ACC coating and HyperShield technology, improving waterproof performance by 73% while retaining the classic diamond-pattern kangaroo leather.
2015-2021: Design Innovation Period ‌Legend 6th Generation‌:
In 2015, it eliminated upper stitching and adopted an internal skeleton structure for a lightweight design.
‌Legend 7th Generation‌: In 2017, it incorporated Flyknit knitting technology with a Hyperstability outsole, further reducing weight. ‌Legend 9th Generation‌: In 2021, it returned to a "simplistic" design, removing excess technological elements and using seamless kangaroo leather with a new FG outsole, weighing only around 200 grams.
2023-Present: Material Controversy Period ‌
Legend 10th Generation‌: In 2023, it abandoned kangaroo leather in favor of FlyTouchPlus synthetic material, sparking controversy over touch feel. ‌
User Reviews‌: The 4th generation is widely regarded as the pinnacle due to its stitching craftsmanship and touch, while the 5th generation is the practical choice for its waterproof technology. Recent iterations, while lighter, have weakened the series' traditional strengths with material changes.
